about the author

Michael Read was born in Bulwell, Nottingham, in 1951. He is married with three grown-up daughters. He spent all his working life in electrical engineering, 20 of which was in mining.

Upon retirement the possibility of exploring other talents became possible. Oil painting came first, to wheel a high standard was answered. Writing a novel in seven-week was a surprise, but is just the next chapter in life. He is looking forward to new opportunities.

This could become sinister. It could pose real danger to your health and welfare. It could even start a war…
